In anticipation of the 31st International Đurđevdan Children’s Song Festival, the festival’s organizing team has issued a public call for compositions and performers. The 31st Đurđevdan Festival will be held in May 2025.
Performers:
Children aged 8 to 12 years can apply to the performers’ competition in accordance with the festival’s rules. The festival team will assign suitable compositions to young performers who pass the audition, record their songs, and provide a dance troupe and choreography for the final evening performance.
Parents must submit applications via email and include an amateur video of the child performing any pop or children’s song.
Young performers can also be nominated by songwriters who submit their original compositions for the 2025 Best Children’s Song contest.
Authors and Compositions:
The main criterion for composers is that the song must not have been performed or officially published before.
The festival will award valuable prizes to the top-ranked composers and performers. All authors of selected compositions will also receive honorariums.
All conditions and application forms for both performers and composers are available on the festival’s official website: djeca.rtrs.tv
Applications should be sent to the following email: djurdjevdanskifestival@gmail.com
As every year, the prestigious „Jadranka Stojaković“ award will be presented to the top-ranked composition, selected by a six-member jury.
