The organizing team of Djurdjevdan Festival has announced a Public Call for compositions and performers for the 32nd Djurdjevdan Festival of Children Songs, which will be held in May 2026.
Application requirements for performers:
According to the Festival’s proposals, children aged 8 to 12 can apply for the competition for performers. The Festival team will assign suitable compositions to the young performers who pass the competition, record the song, provide an accompanying dance group and choreography for the final evening.
Parents apply their children, and in addition to the application sent via email, an amateur video recording of the performance of any pop or children song must be also sent.
Young performers can also be nominated by composers who nominate their original songs for the best children composition of 2026.
Application requirements for authors and compositions:
The basic criterion for composers is that the song has not already been performed or officially released.
The Festival will provide valuable prizes to the best-placed composers and performers, and all authors of selected compositions will be paid a fee.

As every year, the prestigious „Jadranka Stojaković“ Award will be given to the best-ranked composition, thanks to the votes of a six-member jury.
